My Story
It all started with my mom’s dream — an idea for a children’s book about a little bell who couldn’t find her sound until someone took the time to help her ring.
For years, she told me about this story, but life always seemed to get in the way. Then I became a mom, and everything changed. As I read bedtime stories to my children, I realized how powerful stories can be — how they help kids understand kindness, empathy, and what it means to care for others.
That’s when I decided to bring my mom’s story to life. Together, we created The Bell Who Couldn’t Ring — a heartwarming tale about lifting others up so we can all be stronger together.
Out of that book, Joy Jean Media was born.
Our mission is simple: to help parents, caregivers, and teachers raise kind, compassionate kids through stories and resources that spark meaningful conversations. We believe kindness can be taught, modeled, and celebrated — one story, one small act, one conversation at a time.
